FM Botchorishvili meets Singapore counterpart
As part of her visit to the Republic of Singapore, Georgia’s Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Maka Botchorishvili held a meeting with Singapore’s Minister for Foreign Affairs Sim Ann.
According to Georgia’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the sides discussed current issues in bilateral relations, cooperation within international formats, and prospects for further strengthening the partnership between Georgia and Singapore.
Botchorishvili highlighted Georgia’s strategic location and the country’s important role in strengthening regional and global connectivity.
“Special attention was paid to the importance of deepening economic and trade cooperation between Georgia and Singapore. It was noted that both countries represent examples of successful economic policies, creating opportunities for further development of business ties and investment cooperation. The ministers also discussed cooperation within international organizations and agreed to continue partnership on issues of mutual interest,” the Georgian Foreign Ministry said.
