Georgian State Electrosystem: Power fully restored nationwide following overnight outage

Electricity supply has been fully restored across the entire country following extensive overnight repair efforts, the Georgian State Electrosystem (GSE) has confirmed.

The nationwide emergency blackout occurred at approximately 00:10, triggering immediate recovery operations. Engineers worked through the night to restore power in phases before achieving complete restoration this morning.

GSE added that work remains ongoing in parallel to establish the precise cause of the system failure.
