FM Botchorishvili: Georgia-Kazakhstan relations positively assessed at highest level, with readiness expressed to advance political, economic ties
“High-level visit dynamics are very important in relations between Georgia and Kazakhstan,” – Georgian Foreign Minister Maka Botchorishvili stated in Kazakhstan.
According to the Foreign Minister, this visit will be used to discuss important issues between Georgia and Kazakhstan at the highest level.
“The priority is developing economic relations.
At the highest level, the relations that exist today between Georgia and Kazakhstan are positively assessed, although both sides agree that there is potential and opportunities in various directions.
Today, both sides jointly expressed readiness to continue working with the Kazakh side and further advance political and economic ties between the two countries. Of course, connectivity projects that relate to implementing projects through Georgia in various directions are a priority.
In this regard, Georgia is an interesting country for Kazakhstan. Collaboration between our countries is important.
The Prime Minister’s visit is and will be utilised to discuss these issues with the Kazakh side: how we can expand relations and better harness the links that exist between the two countries, to better showcase Georgia in connectivity initiatives,” Botchorishvili stated.
