“It is important that the First Lady of Georgia will be present at the forum organised by the First Lady of the United States. This also offers a significant opportunity to showcase Georgia on the international stage,” stated Georgian Foreign Minister Maka Botchorishvili.

When asked whether the visit of Georgia’s First Lady, Tamar Bagrationi, to Washington to participate in the global summit at the invitation of the First Lady of the United States could be viewed as another step towards stabilising relations with the United States, Botchorishvili responded:

“Of course, it is vital that the First Lady of Georgia attends the forum organised by the First Lady of the United States. This is an important occasion and a good opportunity for Georgia to be part of an event held under the patronage of the First Lady of the United States. Overall, it also represents a valuable platform to promote Georgia’s interests in terms of international relations,” she said.

Georgia’s First Lady, Tamar Bagrationi, will participate in the Global Summit – Fostering the Future Together in Washington, at the invitation of the First Lady of the United States.
