“The Antalya Diplomacy Forum represents an important international platform allowing high-level dialogue and meetings,” said Foreign Minister Maka Botchorishvili, speaking to journalists as she assessed Georgia’s participation in the forum.

She noted that Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze had the opportunity to participate in a high-level panel discussion.

“The Prime Minister had the opportunity to participate in a high-level panel at which discussions centred on contemporary global challenges. The Prime Minister set out Georgia’s vision and our perspective on the processes unfolding across the globe,” said Maka Botchorishvili.

The Minister also spoke about the bilateral meetings held on the sidelines of the forum, highlighting in particular the significance of her meeting with Albania’s newly appointed Foreign Minister.

“I had a meeting with my newly appointed Albanian counterpart. We discussed the Euro-integration process of both Georgia and Albania, our shared challenges, and the ongoing crisis in the region,” the Foreign Minister said.

According to Botchorishvili, the meeting between Georgia’s Prime Minister and the President of Turkey on the sidelines of the forum represents a valuable opportunity to address pressing matters in bilateral relations.

“A meeting of the Prime Minister with the President of Turkey is an excellent opportunity to discuss matters of significance in our relationship with a neighbouring strategic partner,” the Foreign Minister said.
