First Vice Speaker says UNM's plan linked to ex-president Saakashvili's return to power

“The plan of the United National Movement (UNM) is linked to Mikheil Saakashvili’s return to power,” said First Vice Speaker Gia Volski.

According to Gia Volski, Paata Burchuladze (leader of the Rustaveli Avenue movement) “decided to get away with phantasmagoric scenarios and maintain his popularity in the opposition movement.”

“Yes, he insults the Georgian state flag when he wears the flag wrapped around his body and leaves the impression of an inadequate individual. The UNM has no choice but to be open about their intentions, to show their true colours and declare that ‘blood must be shed.’ This is their position openly voiced.

Paata Burchuladze wants to mislead society, saying the rally will be peaceful and nothing will happen. To confirm this, he makes silly remarks. The United National Movement had and has its own plan, a plan to bring Mikheil Saakashvili back to power, no matter what it takes,” Gia Volski explained.
