First-graders to receive new Netbooks at public schools

All first-graders of public schools will receive new Netbooks starting the new academic year. The Ministry of Education and Science says that using Netbooks in the study process will help the pupils in the development of information and technical skills.

The Netbooks will be provided with up-to-date computer programs and will have the improved technical characteristics including the licensed version of Microsoft 365 and hard disc memory capacity.

Also according to the Ministry, all public schools in Tbilisi are provided with wireless internet and additional 400 schools in the regions will have had Wi-Fi internet by the end of this year.
