A man tragically lost his life after reportedly being pushed at the University Metro Station in Tbilisi, falling onto the tracks and dying at the scene.

As a result, traffic on the Saburtalo line of the Tbilisi metro has been disrupted.

The individual responsible for the incident has been arrested.
