Eviction protester jumps from roof onto tree - rescued by Emergency Services

An incident unfolded today on Tvalchrelidze Street during an ongoing eviction process, as one of the residents climbed onto a roof and, in an act of protest, jumped onto a nearby tree.

Prior to the incident, the individual had threatened to jump from the roof unless the eviction was halted. Emergency services on site quickly deployed an inflatable air cushion and climbed the tree to reach the man.

Rescuers managed to bring him down safely. He was then escorted away from the area.

The atmosphere on Tvalchrelidze Street has been tense since early morning, with multiple confrontations reported between residents and law enforcement officers. Several individuals have been detained.
