The Georgian national basketball team faced Italy in its second match of its EuroBasket 2025 journey today, but lost with a score of 62:78.

Georgia faced La Squadra Azzurra, the Italian national team, 13 times in the past but was defeated in all matches.

The Georgian national basketball team, coached by Aleksandar Dzikic, faced Spain in its first match of its EuroBasket 2025 journey on August 28 and convincingly defeated the reigning champion with a score of 83:69.

Georgia will hold the next match against Greece on August 31. The GPB’s First Channel and First Channel Sport will live broadcast the match, which will kick off at 4 p.m. local time.
