EU High Representative glad to host Georgian PM 

“I encouraged Georgian PM to advance implementation of 9 steps, including on elections, foreign policy alignment and fighting FIMI,” said Josep Borrell, EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy.

According to Josep Borrell, he was glad to host Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze on his first foreign visit as the PM in Brussels.

“I was glad to host Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze yesterday on his 1st foreign visit as Georgia’s PM. Substantial exchange on reform efforts  and EU support to Georgia’s resilience. I encouraged to advance implementation of 9 steps, including on elections, foreign policy alignment and fighting FIMI,” he wrote on social network.

Within the framework of his visit to Brussels, Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze met the President of the European Council, Charles Michel; EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, Josep Borrell; and the European Commissioner for Neighbourhood and Enlargement, Olivér Várhelyi on February 20.
