EU Ambassador: On Europe Day, we reflect on our shared history and look forward to future we wish to create together with Georgia
“On Europe Day, we reflect on our shared history and look forward to the future we wish to create together with Georgia,” the EU Ambassador to Georgia, Paweł Herczyński, in a video message released in connection with Europe Day.
As Herczyński noted, the EU’s support for the Georgians extends to all spheres of life and aims to improve the lives of all citizens.
“Every year, we mark Europe Day on May 9. Seventy-five years on, Europe Day stands as a testament to the remarkable success of the European project, which began with the Schuman Declaration in 1950. The European Union has brought peace, democracy, and prosperity to all of its current 27 member states. On Europe Day, we reflect on our shared history and look forward to the future we wish to create together with Georgia. The European Union’s support to the people of Georgia extends to all spheres of life and is aimed at making the lives of all citizens of Georgia better. I warmly invite you to learn more about our support and spend Europe Day together at Expo Georgia on the 9th of May with your families and friends, marking what unites us all,” the EU Ambassador stated.
