Estonian FM: Estonians care deeply about Georgia’s future; we supported their aspirations, now we no longer even discuss them
“Estonians have always been deeply concerned about the future of the Georgian people. We have supported them at every level, striving to help them realise their goal — EU membership,” stated Estonian Foreign Minister Margus Tsahkna.
According to Tsahkna, today, that ambition is no longer even part of the conversation.
“We are now focused on democracy, on ways to survive. That’s why we are profoundly concerned about the recent events unfolding in Georgia,” he added.
