The Eparchy of Batumi and Lazeti will hold Easter service in monasteries without parishioners. In the parish temples, the Easter service will start at 07:00 in the morning.

According to Archpriest Ioane Gorelishvili, this agreement was reached with the Patriarchate.

“We have made a decision because the church and the yard cannot accommodate the parishioners on Easter night. It would be impossible to maintain distance and follow the recommendations. That is why, according to the decision of the Eparchy, services will be held in all parish churches at 7 am. It will be possible to attend by keeping a distance and following the recommendations issued by the Ministry of Health, ”said Ioane Gorelishvili.
