Entrepreneurs with 500 thousand GEL turnover to be categorized as small business

Entrepreneurs with turnover of 500 thousand GEL will be categorized as a small business, – Prime Minister of Georgia Giorgi Kvirikashvili said at the government session today.

As the Prime Minister noted, the Minister of Finance Mamuka Bakhtadze has prepared a legislative initiative, according to which turnover tax for small entrepreneurs will be reduced from 5% to 1%. In addition, the Entrepreneurs with a turnover of 500 thousand GEL will be categorized as a small business.

According to Giorgi Kvirikashvili the preferential tax regime will be introduced for small entrepreneurs.
