PM meets Ukrainian children on holiday at summer camp with Georgian government’s financial support

Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze, accompanied by Minister of Environment Protection and Agriculture Davit Songhulashvili, First Deputy Minister of Education, Science and Youth Affairs Levan Ghirsiashvili and First Deputy Foreign Minister Giorgi Zurabishvili, met Ukrainian children who are on holiday at the summer camp with the financial support of the Georgian government.

Irakli Kobakhidze hosted the children for dinner.

According to the PM’s press service, at the first stage, the camp’s guests are children of armed forces personnel, children orphaned as a result of the war, and their accompanying persons from Kyiv, who participate in cultural, educational, and entertainment events for 10 days. Excursions will be organized for guests to Tbilisi, Bodbe, Sighnaghi and Telavi.

The summer camp will host another group on July 4-15, and these will be children of military servicemen from Sumy city in Ukraine.
