Employees involved in Varketili Subway Station tender to be dismissed

Employees of Tbilisi City Hall, who were involved in the tender procedures of Vaketili Subway Station’s rehabilitation works, will be dismissed from work.

Tbilisi Mayor Kakha Kaladze instructed Mamuka Kobakhidze, Head of Transport Company to fire the employees.

Fourteen people were injured as a result of the incident, caused by ceiling collapse in Varketili metro station in Tbilisi on January 30. “Kvarelremsheni” LTD is the Company, which carried out rehabilitation works at Varketili Subway Station. Tbilisi City Hall paid 347 852 GEL to the Company to carry out the works.
