Emergency Situations Management Service to name objects where safety norms against fire are not observed
The Emergency Situations Management Service will name objects where safety norms against possible fire are not observed in the nearest future.
According to the Service, the number of fires and the amount of inflicted damage increases year by year. The service is carrying out inspection of buildings, both private and state, public places and educational institutions on a regular basis.
About 6 thousand buildings were checked across Georgia in 2017. The 200 units were penalized and recommendations were issued in number of cases.
“The public has the tight to have information where fire safety norms are not provided,” reads the statement of Service. The service will also present legislative changes about tightening of sanctions for violation of safety rules.
