Emergency Situations Coordination and Urgent Assistance Centre granted ISO certificate
The Georgian Emergency Situations Coordination and Urgent Assistance Centre has received the ISO 9001:2015 international quality management certification, following an audit conducted by TÜV Austria, the Ministry of Health announced.
Health Minister Mikheil Sarkveladze congratulated the centre’s staff on their achievement, emphasising that the ISO certification is more than a formal credential; it is a recognition that the centre’s operations fully adhere to international standards.
According to a representative of TÜV Austria, the ISO 9001:2015 certification signifies that the centre consistently meets all requirements and delivers high-quality, safe medical services to patients. As a result, patient satisfaction continues to improve steadily.
The event coincided with the International Day of Medical Transporters observed on August 20. The Minister extended gratitude to the centre drivers, who ensure the timely and safe transportation of physicians to patients.
