The Georgian Minister of Education, Science, and Youth, Givi Mikanadze, met with Austria’s Deputy Youth Minister, Bernadette Humer.
According to the Ministry of Education, the meeting focused on exploring opportunities to deepen the strategic partnership between Georgia and Austria in the fields of education, science, and youth, as well as the implementation of joint initiatives.
During the discussions, Givi Mikanadze briefed Ms Humer on the ongoing reforms within Georgia’s education system.
“The conversation also addressed recent initiatives aimed at developing youth policy and enhancing support services for young people. The parties discussed potential exchange programmes for students, as well as the organisation and realisation of youth camps. At the conclusion of the meeting, the Austrian Deputy Minister of Youth expressed a positive view of Georgia’s reforms and conveyed her full readiness to expand cooperation with Georgia,” the Ministry of Education stated.
