Education Minister: Georgia-Hungary Summit yields tangible results; cooperation to grow further

“Today marks the beginning of a significant visit to the Republic of Hungary, involving the entire government. The Georgia-Hungary Intergovernmental Summit has already delivered many tangible benefits to our country, and I am confident that this visit will lead to an expansion of cooperation between Georgia and Hungary,” Aleksandre Tsuladze, Minister of Education, Science, and Youth, told the media in Budapest.

He highlighted that key agreements will be signed between ministries during the visit, which will have a direct and positive impact on the citizens of both countries.

“At all three levels of higher education—bachelor’s, master’s, and doctoral—we have a very successful program: Stipendium Hungaricum. It provides Georgian students with opportunities to study at Hungarian universities, with full financial support from the Hungarian government. Additionally, recipients receive a special scholarship from the Georgian government. Dozens of students benefit from this program, and we aim to expand it further. We also seek to strengthen cooperation between Georgian and Hungarian young scientists in research and to launch new youth-oriented projects,” Tsuladze noted.
