Education Minister engages with Italian Ambassador

Georgian Minister of Education, Science and Youth Affairs Givi Mikanadze hosted Italian Ambassador to Georgia Massimiliano D’Antuono.

During the meeting, the Minister and Ambassador discussed prospects for the implementation of joint projects and reviewed issues to further enhance academic cooperation between educational institutions.

Givi Mikanadze provided the Israeli Ambassador with information about the main directions of the fundamental reform of higher education in Georgia, which was presented to society by Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze.

The Ambassador thanked the Minister for support of Italian language teaching in Georgia, including for creating the opportunity for Italian language teachers to take a subject-specific exam.
