Education Minister congratulates 2025 class of State Medical University on graduation
Georgian Minister of Education, Science and Youth Affairs, Givi Mikanadze participated in the graduation ceremony of the 2025 class of the Tbilisi State Medical University (TSMU).
The Minister addressed the graduates and attendees with a welcoming speech and wished success to the graduates in their future endeavours.
“Congratulations to you, this year’s graduates, you have made yet another big step in your life. It is a privilege to be a graduate of the TSMU. Our great physicians, who are renowned globally, were brought up within this building. It is significant for the state and our government to have a fleet of educated and qualified youth. That’s why we try our best to facilitate your education and development process.
The development of our country largely depends on the success of each of you. Wherever you may be, remember that you are the tomorrow of this country, and you create a better future. I believe you will never forget the Hippocratic Oath you took and will say your word as professionals,” he said.
In 2025, the State Medical University had more than 700 graduates from undergraduate programs in medicine, dentistry, pharmacy, public health, physical medicine and rehabilitation and nursing.
