Education Minister awards top academic performers with ministerial scholarships for 2025-2026
Givi Mikanadze, Georgia’s Minister of Education, Science, and Youth Affairs, congratulated the recipients of the 2025-2026 academic year scholarships and honoured students with the highest academic achievements through Ministerial scholarships.
“I am proud to see that 249 talented young individuals, driven by clear goals and aspirations, will continue to deepen their knowledge and showcase their skills at leading universities across the United States, Great Britain, the European Union, China, the United Arab Emirates, Egypt, and other countries,” Mikanadze stated.
He emphasised that the government’s investment in the education of the next generation will undoubtedly yield benefits and progress for Georgia’s society and future.
In addition to the prestigious scholarships, monthly grants of 300 euros were awarded to students pursuing master’s degrees in France, Italy, and Hungary.
Nunu Mitskevich, Director of the International Education Centre, addressed the guests, which included ambassadors and representatives from various embassies, highlighting the importance of international educational exchange and support for talented students.
