Education Minister affirms nationwide exams are conducted in peaceful and secure environment
Givi Mikanadze, Georgia’s Minister of Education, Science, and Youth Affairs, visited exam centres in Kutaisi and Zugdidi to extend his best wishes to university applicants.
“The examination process across the country is proceeding following established standards within a peaceful environment. All relevant stakeholders are mobilised to ensure that the setting is focused on supporting university entrants and their teachers, allowing them to demonstrate their knowledge and skills effectively.
We are committed to motivating both students and educators, demonstrating our unwavering support. The success of university applicants and teachers reflects the progress and development of our nation. Ultimately, their achievements are our collective success,” he stated.
The National Unified Exams began on July 3 with the Georgian Language and Literature test. The final exam in Fine Arts is scheduled for July 22. Examination centres are operational in Tbilisi, Batumi, Zugdidi, Kutaisi, Poti, Akhaltsikhe, Gori, Ozurgeti, Telavi, Khulo, and Ambrolauri.
According to the National Assessment and Examinations Centre (NAEC), approximately 80,000 individuals are registered to participate in the 2025 unified examinations.
