Economy Minister to speak at Tbilisi Silk Road Forum on economic opportunities and Middle Corridor

Mariam Kvrivishvili, Georgia’s Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development, will take part in panel discussions at the upcoming Tbilisi Silk Road Forum on October 22-23.

During the forum, the Minister will highlight the strategic significance of the Middle Corridor and its profound economic impact, emphasising the development of new growth opportunities. She will also address Georgia’s ongoing investment policy and its role in fostering sustainable development.

The Tbilisi Silk Road Forum, held under the patronage of Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze, is expected to draw up to 2,000 delegates. The event will be attended by heads of state, prime ministers, vice prime ministers, CEOs, leaders of international organisations, and media representatives. For the first time in its ten-year history, Georgia will co-host the Tbilisi Finance Summit in partnership with the Singapore-based organisation, Global Finance and Technology Network (GFTN).

Since its inaugural event in 2015, the Tbilisi Silk Road Forum has established itself as a premier international platform for strategic dialogue on trade, transport, energy, and digital connectivity.
