Vice PM and Economy Minister Levan Davitashvili met with the Chairman of the Lower House of Ireland, Seán Ó Fearghaíl.
According to the Ministry’s press office, the parties highlighted the expanded sectoral cooperation between the nations.
The duo stressed that the trade-economic partnership significantly intensified in recent years which was facilitated by the establishment of the Georgia-Ireland Business Council.
Davitashvili welcomed Irish investments and companies operating in Georgia, noting that Ireland’s investments in Georgia soared and surpassed 120 million dollars in 2022.
Seán Ó Fearghaíl stated that the goal of his trip to Georgia was to improve trade ties between the two nations. The parties expressed a desire to actively collaborate in several fields.
