Georgia to send generators to Ukraine at year end

Georgia will send generators to Ukraine as humanitarian relief  by the end of the year, Georgian Economy Minister Levan Davitashvili announced after the Cabinet meeting on Monday.

According to the Minister, the purchasing process has begun, and “Ukrainian friends will receive reliable generators of various capacities soon.”

For the record, on 9 December, Revaz Javelidze, the Head of the Georgian Government Administration, said the country’s Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili had instructed the Ministry of Economy to purchase generators for providing them as aid to Ukraine “in the shortest terms possible.”
