EC to publish annual EU enlargement report

The European Commission will publish the annual EU enlargement report on November 8.

In the report, the EC will assess Georgia’s progress in fulfilling the 12-point recommendations, which the EC outlined for the country in June 2022. Based on the progress, the European Council will make a political decision on Georgia’s EU candidate status.

In June 2022, the European Council granted a European Perspective to Georgia.
