“Coronavirus in Georgia: how the country managed to avoid epidemic outbreak after Easter,” Deutsche Welle (DW) published an article under this title saying that Easter posed a huge threat to citizens as churchgoers attend the festive liturgy at the churches.
DW noted that the Georgian government decided not to come into conflict with the Chruch as some experts believe the election results largely depend on the church’s position.
Instead, DW said the government found a different way and introduced further restrictions. The article mentioned the appeals from the clergy as well as doctors saying that citizens should follow the recommendations amid virus pandemic.
DW also pointed out that Earlier this week Georgian Prime Minister presented the anti-crisis economic plan.
