Drug dealers detained

The Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia detained drug dealers.

Mamuka Chelidze, Head of the Main Division of Fighting against Drug Trafficking under the Central Criminal Police Department of Georgia stated during the briefing that one of the priorities of the MIA is to fight against illegal keeping and selling the drugs.

According to him, as a result of the operative-searching and investigative activities conducted in Marneuli and Ponichala simultaneously the law enforcers detained seven drug dealers.

According to Chelidze, the crime envisages from 8 up to 20 years of imprisonment or life sentence.
