Diaspora Affairs Committee Chair: Radicals want to please their bosses, as if people who convene on May 26 are their supporters
Chair of the parliamentary Diaspora Affairs Committee, Irakli Zarkua, believes that the radical opposition selected May 26 for a show with the intention to please their bosses, as if people who convene on May 26 are their supporters.
Irakli Zarkua urged the youngsters not to be used by the opposition.
“Radicals said they would start on October 4 and finish on October 4. Finally, they ended up with 4 people left, while others hid. They selected May 26, since it is Independence Day in Georgia when many people arrive to celebrate together. They want to please their bosses, as if people who convene on May 26 are their supporters. Let them convene on May 24 or May 29.
What results have they achieved from what they have done so far? I advise young people not to let themselves be used, because stateless individuals will abandon them on half of the way. They may convene but disperse peacefully since the law applies to all and treats everyone equally,” he said.
