Demonstrators conclude December 3 protest with march along Vazha-Pshavela Avenue

Protesters concluded their December 3 demonstration with a march along Vazha-Pshavela Avenue. They are scheduled to resume their protest at 7 p.m. on Wednesday.

Following the dispersal of the rally on Rustaveli Avenue by the Special Task Force, demonstrators filled the streets of Tbilisi.

The protests were sparked by the Georgian Dream party’s recent announcement not to put the issue of opening the EU accession negotiations on the agenda and renounce any budgetary grants from the European Union until the end of 2028.
