Defence Minister holds introductory meeting with French Ambassador 

Georgian Defence Minister Irakli Chikovani held an introductory meeting with French Ambassador to Georgia, Olivier Courteaud.

According to the Defence Ministry, Irakli Chikovani congratulated the Ambassador on the launch of his diplomatic mission and wished him success in his future endeavours.

The minister and ambassador reviewed cooperation issues and prospects between Georgia and France in the defence sphere. The Minister thanked the Ambassador for France’s unwavering support of Georgia’s territorial integrity and sovereignty

First Deputy Defence Minister Paata Patiashvili and the Defense Attaché of the French Republic, Captain 2nd Rank Philippe Grussenmeyer attended the meeting.
