Davit Zalkaliani – Spain has no claims against Georgia regarding visa liberalization
We care about benefits of visa liberalization and we cooperate with all members of the European Union – Davit Zalkaliani, Georgian Foreign Minister said during the meeting with Spanish Minister of Internal Affairs Fernando Grande-Marlaska within the framework of his visit to Spain.
Zalkaliani said that Spain had no claims against Georgia regarding visa liberalization. “Georgia’s fulfillment of taken commitments was evaluated positively,” Zalkaliani said.
Foreign Minister expressed hope that cooperation with Spanish law enforcement agencies would be enhanced in the future and that visa-free regime would be maintained. “Visa liberalization has not only practical but political importance for Georgia,” Zalkaliani said.
