Foreign Ministry denies reports of Georgia’s Ambassador to U.S. resigning

The Georgian Ministry of Foreign Affairs has dismissed reports claiming that Davit Zalkaliani, the country’s Ambassador to the United States and a career diplomat, has resigned.

The Ministry stated that these claims are unfounded.

“The information circulating in the media regarding Ambassador Davit Zalkaliani’s resignation is false,” the Ministry confirmed.
