Davit Sergeenko - Circle of people provided with access to outpatient medicines should be expended

There is a resource for discount on medicines for most of chronic diseases, – Georgia’s Minister of Health Davit Sergeenko made this statement during the meeting with the representatives of pharmaceutical companies held today.

As the Minister said, the aim of the meeting is to introduce the companies with the vision on the strategic direction and exchange the views.

According to the Minister, the most important challenge in the health care system is the accessibility of the population to the outpatient medications.

He said that the circle of people who will be provided with access to outpatient medicines should be expended.
