Davit Meskhishvili: Rule for taking driving license has to become stricter

Davit Meskhishvili, Chairman of the non-governmental organization Association of Transport and Roads believes that the current Georgian legislation is loyal to a drunken driver, who is a potential murderer.

In Program “Actual Topic” of First Channel hosted by Maka Tsintsadze, Meskhishvili talked about international practice of taking driving licenses, Georgian auto schools which are not licensed and preparation for tests.

He claimed that European directives had to be implemented so that practical tests were transferred to the real space of the city. Meskhishvili stated that active cooperation with Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA) and Service Agency was open and would likely bring positive outcomes soon.
