Covid-19 Georgia entry regulations ease

The pandemic-related Georgia entry regulations will ease both for Georgian nationals and foreigners.

According to Natia Turnava, Georgian Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development, travelers who present a negative Covid-19 PCR test will be allowed entry into Georgia.

Natia Turnava added that a Covid-19 test at the traveler’s expense could replace the mandatory eight-day self-isolation.

Travelers with no negative Covid-19 PCR test are subject to eight-day quarantine instead of 12 days.

Minister of Economy explained that Covid-related entry regulations would ease as the regular flights resume from February 1.
