The concert of American singer and songwriter Mariah Carey is planned to be held in Georgia in May. As Georgian Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development Giorgi Kobulia told the reporters intensive work on this issue is underway.

“Negotiations about Mariah Carey’s arrival in Georgia are ongoing. In case of successful completion of the negotiations, the singer will hold the first concert at the Black Sea Arena in May. As soon as it is specified, we will inform you”, – Giorgi Kobulia said.

According to Minister, information about Mariah Carey’s concert and other events planned within the Check in Georgia project will become known in mid-February.
