City Assembly approves 2024 Tbilisi budget

Tbilisi City Assembly (Sakrebulo) approved the 2024 budget of the Georgian capital. The budget’s total amount is GEL 1,763,354,000, where GEL 1,254,000,000 is the municipality’s revenues and GEL 500,000,000 is the transfer from the state budget.

The donors’ funding amounts to GEL 63 million. Other revenues include VAT, property, land, gambling business taxes and privatization-related revenues.

Tbilisi City Hall plans to spend GEL 547 million on infrastructure projects, while GEL 507 million will be allocated to social and healthcare programs.
