CEC: Submitting requests for modifications in voters' list possible before September 16

The Central Election Commission (CEC) Spokesperson Natia Ioseliani announced at the briefing that 3 051 polling stations operate throughout Georgia from September 4.

According to Natia Ioseliani, the election administration actively continues preparations for the October 4 municipal elections. Voter cards and information flyers are being delivered.

“Submitting requests for modifications in the voters’ list is possible before September 16. In order for voters to be able to exercise their right to vote smoothly, the election administration once again calls on voters to promptly verify their data and find out where their polling station is located.

Ethnic minorities residing in the regions can verify their data on the CEC website in the Azerbaijani and Armenian languages – a standard which ensures equal opportunities for all voters.

Voters who cannot visit the polling station due to their health state can apply to the CEC with a request to vote through a mobile ballot box no later than September 23. The voting procedure through the mobile ballot box begins at 9 a.m. and ends at 7 p.m. Marking will also be done for those voters who will use the mobile ballot box,” she said.
