CEC Chair oversees election preparations in Marneuli

Chairman of the Central Election Commission (CEC), Giorgi Kalandarishvili, continues his series of working meetings with District Election Commissions across the regions, personally familiarising himself with the preparations for the upcoming municipal elections.

According to the CEC, Giorgi Kalandarishvili recently conducted another working meeting with CEC Spokesperson Natia Ioseliani at the Marneuli District Election Commission.

“They thoroughly reviewed the activities and ongoing efforts undertaken by the commission in readiness for the October 4 municipal elections. Following the meeting, Giorgi Kalandarishvili, accompanied by Natia Ioseliani and representatives of the Marneuli District Election Commission, inspected the temporary storage facility in Marneuli.

This facility houses the election documentation and electronic equipment essential for managing the October 4 elections, which will be transferred to the precinct election commissions within the legally specified deadlines before polling day,” the CEC stated.
