CEC assigns electoral number 4 to Unity of Georgians, 5 - to Our United Georgia 

At the decision of the Georgian Central Election Commission (CEC), electoral number 4 was assigned to Unity of Georgians, 5 – to Our United Georgia.

The running order of political parties, which registered for the participation in the October 4 municipal elections is as follows:

1. Motherland, Language, Faith;

2. Alliance of Democrats;

3. Conservatives for Georgia;

4. Unity of Georgians;

5. Our United Georgia;

6. Third Way;

7. Free Georgia;

8. Patriots Alliance of Georgia;

9.  Strong Georgia-Lelo;

10. Rightists Alliance;

11. Sakartvelo (Georgia);

12. Greens Party;

13. Party for Georgia’s Unity and Development;

14. Public Government;

25. Gakharia for Georgia;

36. Girchi;

41. Georgian Dream (GD).

The Central Election Commission (CEC) deprived the United National Movement (UNM) and Coalition for Change of their electoral numbers.

The CEC explained that the two political parties had applied to the CEC with a request to retain their electoral numbers, 5 and 4, but refused to register for the October 4 municipal elections.
