Brief rain showers expected in parts of Georgia from July 22 to 24

Between 22 and 24 July, occasional short rain showers and thunderstorms are expected in several regions of Georgia, despite high daytime temperatures, National Environment Agency reported on Monday.

In mountainous and highland areas, heavy rainfall is possible, along with hail and brief strong winds.

  • Tbilisi: Short rain showers, thunderstorms, and gusty winds may occur during the night. Daytime temperatures will range between +33°C and +35°C.
  • Batumi, Kobuleti, Anaklia, Poti: +29°C to +31°C
  • Zestaponi, Kutaisi, Samtredia, Zugdidi, Martvili, Ozurgeti: +32°C to +34°C
  • Ambrolauri, Oni, Tsageri, Shovi, Chiatura, Sachkhere, Khulo, Rikoti Pass: +31°C to +33°C
  • Mestia, Bakhmaro: +27°C to +32°C
  • Rustavi, Bolnisi, Marneuli, Gardabani, Gori, Tskhinvali: +36°C to +38°C
  • Kakheti Region: +36°C to +38°C
  • Akhaltsikhe, Borjomi, Dusheti, Tianeti, Pasanauri: +31°C to +33°C
  • Akhalkalaki, Tsalka, Bakuriani, Gudauri, Omalo: +23°C to +28°C
