Bilateral political consultations held between the Foreign Ministries of Georgia and Estonia

The next round of bilateral political consultations has been held between the Foreign Ministries of Georgia and Estonia. Paul Teesalu, the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Estonia arrived in Georgia. The press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Georgia reports in that regard.

Deputy Minister Vakhtang Makharoblishvili led the consultations from the Georgian side.

Within the framework of the consultations, the parties discussed a wide range of issues on the agenda of bilateral relations. Underlined the intensive contacts between the two countries at the highest level as well as between agencies in the field of defense and security,  economics, education and culture, e-governance, cyber security, tax reform, etc.

Within the framework of the political consultations, the issues of Georgia’s NATO integration, the Black Sea Security and the upcoming NATO Summit were discussed.

The meeting focused on the situation in the occupied territories of Georgia.
