Bidzina Ivanishvili's family transferred 100 million GEL to StopCoV fund

The family of the chairman of the Georgian Dream party Bidzina Ivanishvili transferred 100 million GEL to the  StopCov fund created by the Georgian government to combat the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) in Georgia.

The amounts donated to the StopCoV fund are reflected on the special website. In particular, according to the updated data, after the Ivanishvili’s donation, 124 543 899 GEL accumulated on the account.

The chairman of the board of the Cartu Charity Fund Nikoloz Chkhetiani confirms this information.

“The donation of the Bidzina Ivanishvili family to StopCoV fund is 100 million GEL. A few days ago, Mr. Bidzina transferred 100 million GEL to the Cartu fund for the StopCoV, and this amount has already been reflected in the account of the StopCoV Foundation”, – said Chkhetiani.
