Beka Tsikarishvili sentenced to 14-day imprisonment

Beka Tsikarishvili, a member of “White Noise” Movement was sentenced to 14-day imprisonment. The decision was made by Tbilisi City Court.

Two people – Tornike Bziava and Beka Tsikarishvili — were detained by the court’s resource officers after the completion of the trial of actor Giorgi Giorganashvili on January 23.

According to the resource officers, the motive for the detention was verbal insult committed by the abovementioned persons in the court yard. In addition, Beka Tsikarishvili and Tornike Bziava threw bricks at the door of the City Court.

The incident took place after the judge sentenced Giorgi Giorganashvili to 8 years in prison. Beka Tsikarishvili and Tornike Bziava were arrested under the administrative rule. Bziava was fined with 500 GEL.
