Based on preliminary reports, there are no Georgian citizens among the tourists, who were injured as a result of the bus crash incident in Italy.

As Ministry of Foreign Affairs told Georgian First Channel, there were 8 Georgian citizens among the tourists on board of the bus, which slipped off the road.

Also according to the Ministry, the Georgian Consul in Italy is verifying the information to inquire about their health condition.

One person was killed and 30 others were injured after a bus carrying 50 tourists from Siena to Florence crashed on Wednesday.

According to Reuters, there were Russian, Armenian, Moldavian, Georgian and Ukrainian tourists on the bus. Reportedly, 4 of them have serious injuries.
