Bacho Akhalaia found guilty in Sergo Tetradze’s case and convicted to 9 years in prison

Bacho Akhalaia, former Defense Minister of Georgia has been found guilty into the case of Sergo Tetradze. Akhalaia has been sentenced to 9 years in jail.

Nikoloz Dzimceishvili , the defendant into the same case has been found guilty as well and was convicted to 4 years in prison.

Three other persons – Davit Londaridze, Gia Gorelashvili and Sergei Chapligini are charged into the high-profiled case of Sergo Tetradze’s torture and death.

Tetradze, detained in suspicion of spying in September of 2011, died several days after the arrest.
